One leap forward Causes Ten Steps Backward!

Every time I think I'm ahead of the game, this happens.  So my girlie is going to go to the Catholic high school in San luis Obispo.  School starts in 3 days, and of course being a private Catholic school, they have a pretty strict dress code.  No uniforms, to her relief,  They like to see their kids dressed for success, so I guess..hey I'm a poet and didn't even know it!  Well being that she 14 and still wears a kids 12 finding her pants that aren't blue jeans was no easy task.  She loves her Abercrobie kids super skinny jeans and they fit her to a tee, but we were told blue jeans were unacceptable so we settled for "jeggins" not a jean, not a legging, but same wonderful look and feel, and skin tight.  Then we find out that this year blue jeans are allowed. Hallelujah!!!  And to top that her favorite super skinny jeans at AK are on sale! Yay for me! So I order as many pairs as I could me hands on..So I'm thinking, I'm so slick and ahead of the game, she is all set and these last few days before school she can  just relax and play.

Then I read the fine print that was right in front of my face the whole time, NO Excessively tight jeans or pants!  Have ya seen jeggins?   So off to shop and return a few pairs of pants we go, damn it!

Summer Time and I'm Feeling Good

This water melon is blog Worthy because I have spent the last two summers in search of a sweet one and today I hit the jackpot. A pictures worth a thousand words...I guess if I was going for a thousand I should have taken a better picture.

Because Saturday Nights Where Made For KBLX

One of the major things I miss ALOT since moving to San Luis Obispo county from the Bay Area is the great radio stations.  There's alot of wonderful things about the Central Coast that I do love BUT the radio stations aren't one of them.  They SUCK!  Well, actually there just aren't any stations at all, and NO I'm just not a KJUG kinda gal, no offence to those that are,  it's just that country music isn't one of favorites.  Although I do love Blake  Shelton and if I was 20 years younger and not married, he would be my guy.  I love him on The Voice, his heart just knocks you out.


Now I miss my Sara and Vinny in the morning on ALICE, and EVERYTHING ABOUT KFOG and my cousin Kev on KBLX, "soft and warm, the quiet storm" ...lets not forget the great Hip Hop and R&B mix on KMEL.  Being the music lover I am, I was a spoiled girl to say the least.  Now we listen to Wild 106 all the damn day!  It's the reason I now have the musical taste of a Tween:)


I know, there's itunes and lot's of other places on the web to download music, but in order to download the artist/song, you have to remember which ones you love and I'm going through my forgetful phase. So I am loving Pandora Radio these days.  I use to listen to it when I first got on Facebook years ago, but back then you could keep it on your FB page and have easy access and now it's hidden and I'm also going through my "outta sight, outta mind" phase.  The other day while Circuit Coaching the music went out on us and one of my clients reminded me of Pandora,,,so we geared up some R&B and Hip Hop mixes and it was a blast!   So I've been playing with Pandora ever since....and needless to say, It's Saturday night and I'm listening to the slow R&B soulful sounds of love.  Monday's, they'll be saved for Classic Rock for sure and the rest of the week will be a get dancing Mix.   pandora, I'm listening to it while composing this post and so can you @http://www.pandora.com            I am a happy girl:)
